1. What types of therapy do you offer?
At 5th Corner Counseling, we offer individual therapy for adults and couples counseling. Sessions are designed to help you navigate life transitions, manage anxiety or depression, and strengthen relationships through practical, strengths-based strategies.

2. Where are you located?
We’re located in Perrysburg, Ohio, and proudly serve clients throughout Maumee, Rossford, Toledo, and surrounding Northwest Ohio communities as well as Telehealth for all of Ohio. In-person sessions are available in our Perrysburg office, and we also offer secure online therapy for clients across the state of Ohio.

3. Do you offer online or virtual counseling?
Yes! We provide telehealth sessions for anyone living in Ohio. Virtual therapy is a great option if you have a busy schedule, live farther away, or simply prefer the comfort of your own space.

4. What can I expect in my first session?
The first session is about getting to know you—your story, goals, and what’s been getting in the way. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, set some initial goals, and create a plan that fits your needs and comfort level.

5. How long are therapy sessions and how much do they cost?
Sessions are typically 50–55 minutes long and cost $150. Some insurance plans are accepted, and we’re happy to discuss payment options during your consultation.

6. Do you accept insurance?
We accept some insurance plans and can provide documentation if you’d like to submit for out-of-network reimbursement. If you’re unsure about coverage, we’ll walk you through the process so you understand your options before getting started.

7. How do I schedule an appointment?

8. What kinds of issues do you help with?
We help adults and couples with a wide range of concerns including anxiety, depression, grief, career changes, divorce, family conflict, self-esteem, stress, and life transitions. Our goal is to help you find clarity, confidence, and a healthier perspective—your “fifth corner.”

9. How do I know if therapy is right for me?
If you’re feeling stuck, anxious, or overwhelmed, or you simply want to grow and better understand yourself, therapy can help. You don’t have to wait for a crisis—many people come to therapy to get unstuck, gain clarity, or strengthen relationships.

10. Do you work with couples who aren’t married?
Yes. We work with couples in all stages—dating, engaged, married, or long-term partnerships. The goal is to strengthen communication, connection, and understanding, regardless of your relationship status. We are an LGBTQ+ affirming practice as well.
